Something's Fishy - Fishes and lot more to stuff yourself with

Located at MIDC near Andheri west, The International By Tunga is a elite eatery made for every quite dining experience lover. The place is well lit, royal and not to forget quite even when it is full.

Food

The food is not heavy on the stomach, less spices and more taste seems to be their ideology across the menu. We tried their stuffed Bombil fry and absolutely loved it. Also the Paya soup deserves a mention, it is a thick slurp-worthy bowl of goodness which will comfort every mutton lover's soul.

The main course has a lot of varieties and the staff is cordial. We were shown the size of crab with the staff bringing the live crab and lobsters to our table, it was fascinating to say the least. The huge crab could be easily 2 people's dinner on stand alone basis. We did not order the crab as we wanted to try other dishes as well. We ordered Kalamari Pepper Sauce Squid (Chinese) in starters and it was a bit chewy as Squid is supposed to be but the taste was up to the mark.

In main course we ordered Chicken Vindaloo (Goan) and it was not as per expectation. The curry was too pasty and lacked flavor though it had the color. We will not recommend the same. The Butter Kulchas were more like mini Butter Naans and were surprisingly without the usual sesame seeds which are common everywhere, missed having the real Butter Kulchas indeed.

The desserts were like the cherry on the cake. The staff brought all desserts on a trolley for us to choose from and we were delighted to know beforehand what we are ordering, a good way to present the desserts we must say. We ordered a Tiramisu Italiano and a Sizzling Brownie with Ice cream and both were satisfying and trance worthy.
